Job Description

We are searching for an experienced Manager Solar Engineering & Design, for our partner, one of the most important renewable energy companies on the market. You would be based in Bucharest and enjoy a dedicated team of professionals with international relevant background and exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage the solar team for the new Bucharest office

• Grow the team into a specialized solar engineering team, providing detailed engineering and planning support for PV projects globally.

• Coordinate the work scope with and support the team based in Hamburg in their projects

• Develop and implement the engineering standards required as international consultant

• Develop the business together with and for the team and scope of services over time.

• Frequent visits and exchange between Hamburg and Bucharest

• Support also with site visits, due diligence and other solar related tasks, as required.

Skill & Experience

• Master degree, preferably in the technical field

• 5 years professional experience working in solar engineering, planning and construction

• Strong competence and know-how to manage PV engineering and design work, from a Consultant perspective

• Entrepreneurial spirit to build a new team from scratch, even though docking on a 15 years record of accomplishment of the running team in Germany.

• Experience with solar related contracts (EPC, Consulting) in project context.

• Experience in leading a team and bringing it to excellent results

• Strong motivation to achieve objectives and deliver quality results

• Fluent in English (writing / speaking)
