Job Description

Key Responsibilities

What you will do:

• planning for PV systems (focus on ground-mounted systems) in coordination with the electrical planning

• You will be involved in projects from the early stages (feasibility studies), through construction planning and as built drawings

The focus of your work will be on mechanical and structural aspects of PV systems, in particular:

• Site assessment for suitability for PV (geology, topography, and hydrology).

• Foundations / foundation

• Steel construction (mounting systems)

Planning of ground mounted PV power plants for international projects:

• conceptual design

• preliminary planning

• execution planning

• Support in design review / technical due diligence

• Energy yield analysis

• Interdisciplinary and intercultural work

Skill & Experience

What you need to have:

• Diploma or master’s degree with technical background

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience with the planning and/or construction of PV plants

• Execution of planning and design

• Construction supervision

• Experience with software at user level

• AutoCAD (Civil 3D)

• Optional: GIS

• Optional: Helios / PVCase (or similar)

• PVSyst

• Experience with PV substructures and their foundation

• Experience with site investigations (geology, topography, and hydrology) in relation to PV ground mounted systems

• Design of additional works such as construction roads, drainage systems, cable trenches, foundations/foundations

• Fluent in written and spoken English

• Willingness to travel to Germany and/or projects in individual cases also for a longer period (several weeks)

• You are a reliable, friendly, and cooperative team member in our international and intercultural team

• You are goal-oriented and have initiative

• Experience in project work with virtual teams
