Key Responsibilities

You will act as supervisor for the construction of the project and:

• Be an integral part of company’s site supervisory team, which is providing services for Owner’s Engineering, Procurement and Implementation Support to our Clients

• Review and supervise construction activities, installers and contractor’s including their adherence to relevant safety, health and environmental standards.

• Review and check quality of installations against design and compliance with technical requirements, inspection, and test plans as well as manufacturer requirements.

• Monitor construction progress against timeline, identify areas of concern and support problem solving in a cooperative and constructive manner.

• Train and supervise local QA/QC staff on PV specific requirements.

• Review and supervise testing and commissioning activities.

• Provide regular reports identifying issues, risks etc.

• Review compliance with contractual requirements for certain milestones, such as mechanical completion, and identify punch list items.

Work with the site manager and site construction team to track progress and report adherence to the project schedule.

Skill & Experience

• >5 years of experience in construction site supervisory for mechanical and/or electrical systems, preferably with PV

• Bachelor / Master’s degree or Diploma in engineering or similar, preferably related to energy, mechanical or electrical

• Diligent and self-motivation to deliver the best results as a team player.

• Structured work style, time management and good reporting routines

• Proficient use of English in business context. Most communication will be in English. French communication skills would be an asset in some projects.

Willingness to stay at construction site for extended periods, with accommodation in the permanent Mining Camp (with Expat Status), cross-shift will be available.
